Trama: Irlanda 1920: i lavoratori della terra e della campagna si uniscono per formare degli eserciti di guerriglieri volontari per affrontare le spietate squadre dei "Black and Tan" che vengono mandate dalla Gran Bretagna per fermare il tentativo dell'Irlanda di conquistare l'indipendenza. Spinto da un profondo senso del dovere e dall'amore per il proprio paese, Damien abbandona la carriera borghese di medico e si unisce al fratello, Teddy, in una pericolosa e violenta lotta per la libertà. Mentre l'audace tattica dei combattenti per la libertà porta gli inglesi al punto di rottura, entrambe le parti finalmente concordano un trattato che ponga fine al massacro. Sinopsys: Ireland, 1920. Damien and Teddy are brothers. But while the latter is already the leader of a guerrilla squad fighting for the independence of his motherland, Damien, a medical student at University College, would rather finish his training at the London hospital where he has found a place. However, shortly before his departure, he happens to witness atrocities committed by the ferocious Black and Tans and finally decides to join the resistance group led by Teddy. The two brothers fight side by side until a truce is signed. Bur peace is short-lived and when England imposes a treaty regarded unfair by a part of the population war resumes, this time pitting Irishmen against Irishmen, brothers against brothers, Teddy against Damien...
