Trama: Palermo. Novembre 1991. Una ragazzina di 17 anni denuncia i mafiosi che le hanno assassinato il padre e il fratello. Da questo momento i giorni di Rita sono contati. Rinnegata e minacciata dal paese e persino dalla madre, è costretta ad abbandonare la Sicilia ed esiliarsi a Roma. Il Procuratore anti-mafia diventa per lei una figura paterna, la prende sotto protezione, la sostiene e le fa ammettere che suo padre e suo fratello non erano figure positive. A Roma sotto falsa identità, Rita riscopre la vita di un'adolescente spensierata ma gli eventi precipitano e la riportano alla sua battaglia. Rifiutando di essere la successiva sulla lista, Rita ancora una volta sceglie il suo destino.
Sinopsys: Palermo. November 1991. A girl of 17 names the names of the mafia killers who have murdered her father and brother. From that moment, Rita's days are numbered. Shunned and threatened by the rest of her town, and even by her mother, she is flee Sicily for Rome. The chief anti-mafia prosecutor becomes a father figure for her, protecting and supporting her, and getting her to see that her father and brother were not positive figures. She lives the life of a carefree adolescent in Rome, protected by a false identity, but then events take a return for the worse, once again bringing her face to face with her battle. Refusing to be the next on the list, Rita once again chooses her destiny.
