Trama: Tre musicisti disabili, drogati marci, stanno cercando un batterista per la loro rock band. Dries, un famoso scrittore, sembra l’uomo giusto, per partecipare al più grosso raduno di musica fiammingo. Una gara senza esclusioni di colpi. È necessario che anche Dries abbia un’invalidità: così si inventa di non saper suonare la batteria. Nascono i The Feminists. Gli altri membri della band sono: Koen, un violento stupratore; Ivan, un rozzo tossico finto sordo; Jan, un omosessuale con complessi materni. Dries viene risucchiato dal fascino che prova nei confronti dei The Feminists. Ma lo stesso cercherà di manipolarli fino a portarli ad odiarsi spietatamente l’un l’altro. Però la verità non è come appare….
Sinopsys: Three disabled, junky musicians, need a drummer for their rock band. Dries, a famous writer, seems to be the man for the job. But to play at the most important Flemish rock festival, a no-holds-barred competition, Dries needs to have a disability too, and so he makes believe that he cannot play the drums. The other members of the newly formed group, the Feminists, are: Koen, a violent rapist, Ivan, a down-andout drug addict pretending to be deaf, and Jan, a homosexual with maternal problems. Dries is irresistibly drawn to the Feminists, though, at the same time, he works at manipulating them into feeling an unbridled hatred for each other. But the truth is not always what it seems ….
