Altri titoli: Lesson 21
Trama: Mondrian Killroy è un professore universitario inglese, eccentrico e geniale. Non è chiara la sua
disciplina.
Sinopsys: Mondrian Killroy is an eccentric, quick-witted English university professor. It is hard to tell exactly
what subject he teaches, and the academic community has little use for him, but Professor
Killroy’s students, who adore him, still remember his bizarre yet highly creative lessons. One that has
taken on almost mythical status with the passing of time is simply entitled “Lesson 21”. It dates back to
the years when the Professor devoted his attention to overrated works of art: in this case, Beethoven’s
Ninth Symphony. In an hour and a half, Professor Killroy destroys Beethoven’s masterpiece, taking particular
care in belittling the Ode to Joy. Lesson 21 is a dramatisation of that lesson, as it has been handed
down to us by the Professor’s notes and the recollections of his students.
