Trama: Un film semiautobiografico ispirato ai diari privati del padre di Suleiman, dalla resistenza del 1948 alle lettere inviate dalla madre a membri della famiglia costretti a lasciare il paese. Associando questi materiali ai ricordi di tutti loro, il film narra la vita quotidiana di quei Palestinesi che decisero di restare e che furono etichettati come 'Arabi Israeliani', vivendo da stranieri nella loro stessa patria.
Sinopsys: A semi-autobiographic film based on the diaries of the filmmaker's father Suleiman, from the resistance in 1948 to the letters sent by the mother to family members forced to leave the country. Adding to this material the memories of everyone involved, the film looks at the day-to-day lives of the Palestinians who, having decided to stay, were labelled 'Israeli Arabs': foreigners in their own country.
