Trama: Due poliziotti sono incaricati di sorvegliare e proteggere un marocchino appena scarcerato per l'accusa di terrorismo internazionale sul quale pesa ancora il sospetto. I due poliziotti sono il giovane agente Eugenio Fusco e l'ispettore Duccio Monti, 50enne di provata esperienza, che non si sopportano l'un l'altro. A furia di vivere a stretto contatto con il sorvegliato stringono amicizia con l'uomo, e una volta scoperta la sua innocenza, questo legame non si spezzerà così facilmente.
Sinopsys: Two police officers are assigned to tail a suspected terrorist, a foreign resident released from jail pending trial. As they follow and observe him, the ill-assorted partners air their differences and clashing opinions, with the younger officer holding that the whole case might be another of the legal errors caused by post-9/11 hysteria while the veteran feels that the suspect never should have been freed. Then Khalid, the target of their investigation, turns the tables on them, joining the debate himself and leading them to wonder whether he really is the enemy or a friend? Whether he should be followed or protected? Whether he deserves to be helped or arrested?
