Trama: Una rapina messa a segno da due arabi. Un giocatore, un cameriere e una donna alcolista si ritrovano in corsa contro il tempo, a combattere con la quotidianità e tutto quello che la riguarda. Karim, il ragazzo arabo che ha commesso la rapina per bisogno, diventa amico di Gianni che lo sostiene facendolo sentire meno solo. Irene, la donna alcolista, è convinta che Gianni sia il figlio che il marito, molti anni prima, le ha sottratto. E poi c'è Betty, giovane transessuale che per amore si lascia trascinare in una storia di malavita.
Sinopsys: In order to buy a permit of stay, two young Arabs are forced to make a hold-up. The attempt doesn't succeed and one of them is wounded. Then great suffering begins. The protagonists of this story don't know each other, but they brush past each other, they meet, they cross by, then at a certain point they start to integrate with each other. Their destinies somehow bind them together. Now all of them have difficulty in fighting against these destinies. When it seems that everything is on the verge of collapse, they suddenly stop, look into the camera and start singing. It's a confession, laying themselves bare, turning to the audience in an attempt to create a direct relationship, no more make-believe, in the sincerity of music and sentiments.
