Trama: Romeo, cantante e tastierista di musica leggera, lasciato dalla fidanzata va a suonare su una nave da crociera. Sulla nave egli incontra Marguerite, una bella cinquantenne, che canta il repertorio di Jacques Brel, e va a vivere e a lavorare con lei a Bruxelles. Una sera, in un fast food Romeo in un fast food incontra Iris, una cameriera italiana emigrata in Belgio con il padre. Egli è molto attratto ed affascinato dalla candida irruenza di Iris, che nel tempo libero canta in un coro polifonico e scrive versi. Le propone di mettere in musica i suoi versi con sonorità moderne. I due ottengono ben presto un ingaggio battezzandosi «Iris Blond and the Freezer». La storia della coppia musicale sfocia anche sul piano sentimentale, ma Iris non è molto sicura dei propri sentimenti. Quando le si presenta un'occasione professionale molto importante Iris sarà costretta a fare una scelta.
Sinopsys: Romeo, a singer and keyboard player, has been left by his girlfriend, and goes to play on a cruise ship. On the ship, he meets Marguerite, a beautiful fifty-year-old, who sings the repertory of Jacques Brel. He goes to live and work with her in Brussels. One evening, while in a Romeo meets Iris, an Italian waitress who has emigrated to Belgium with her father. He is very attracted and fascinated by Iris' candid impetuousness, and discovers that in her free time she sings in a polyphonic choir and writes poetry. He suggests setting her poetry to modern music. They are soon hired and call themselves "Iris Blond and the Freezer". The story of this musical couple soon becomes romantic, but Iris is not very sure of how she feels. When she is offered an important musical break, she has to choose.
