Sinopsys: One of the prisoners at the bar at the court in Nuoro, in Sardinia, is a fourteen-year-old boy charged with murder. The truth surrounding his crime surfaces from the depth of submerged memories and nightmares which haunt the protagonists of the story. The case is linked to the muder of the defendant's brother, Giosuè, a year before. Giosuè had been left alone in a house in the country and had seen some cattle thieves at work. When the thieves were confronted, they believed that Giosuè had given the game away. They went back to the house to teach him a lesson, but tragically killed him instead. The rest of the story is reconstructed like a puzzle and deals with the themes of forgiveness and the insurpressible need for justice.
