Trama: Asolo, marzo 1945.
Sinopsys: The story begins in Asolo, in the North of Italy, 1945. In a real and metaphorical dawn, Livia Mazzoni, the beautiful wife of an important man, gets into car, driven by Ugo Oggiano, her admirer, as well as a lawyer friend of her husband's. She must reach Venice where her lover, Helmut Schultz, a handsome but ill-fated, SS lieutenant, with whom she is having an incredible love affair, is waiting for her. Throughout the journey, Livia thinks about the different stages that have brought her to this point in her life. Everything in Venice has degenerated during the last months of the war and her life has been turned upside down. However, a surprise awaits her in Venice. The personal defeat of the main characters intertwines with the public political and historical events of the time.
