Trama: Visto che preferiscono dividere con lei il letto piuttosto che la tavola e visto che Martha preferisce cucinare per loro invece che passare una serata a due, da tempo Martha ha lasciato perdere il capitolo uomini. Tempo per un uomo comunque non ne avrebbe, impegnata com'è ai fornelli del "Lido", un piccolo ristorante Francese. Martha ha in testa una sola cosa: la riuscita dei suoi manicaretti. Ma la sua vita cambia da un giorno all'altro, quando la sorella muore in un incidente e le lascia una difficile eredità: la figlia di sette anni, che ora all'infuori di Martha non ha nessuno.
Sinopsys: Since men prefer to share her bed rather than her table and seeing that Martha prefers to cook for them rather than spend a romantic evening 'just for two', she has long decided to give up on men. Indeed, she would not even have time for a man, busy as she is cooking at the small French restaurant called 'Lido'. Cooking is the only thing that matters for Martha, until one day, when her sister dies in an accident, leaving her the difficult task of looking after her seven-year-old daughter, who has nobody else but Martha.
