Sinopsys: Leonida, princess of Sparta, sits on the throne that her father usurped from Agis's father. Driven by a profound sense of justice, she decides to give the throne back to its legitimate heir, the young Agis, but she wonders how to do it. One day, however, everything becomes clear to her when she sees Agis swimming in a lake and falls desperately in love with him. Leonida's plan is to win the young man's heart, marry him, and then offer him the throne to which he is entitled. Agis, on the contrary, feels only hatred towards the princess. To achieve her purpose, Leonida, together with Corinna, her lady-in-waiting, disguise as men and enter the villa, where they carry out a shrewd plot involving seduction, treachery and coups de théâtre, in which the triumph of love is the ultimate goal.
