Sinopsys: A young but esteemed professor at the University of Bologna finds himself mixed up in a complicated investigation. He leaves everything behind and moves to the peaceful banks of the Po River, where he discovers a rundown building that he makes his own. Stories of friendship, day-to-day life and love develop between the professor and the locals, in what amounts to a spontaneous understanding of an instant in which all types of reality can be experienced.
