Trama: Pigalle, Parigi. In un locale notturno François, conquistato dalla bellezza di Daniela, squillo di lusso, le chiede di diventare la sua donna. Lui le racconta di avere vinto qualche milione di euro alla lotteria, e lei lo segue, sistemandosi a casa sua. La vita quotidiana però non è così facile. Non solo perché François non gode di buona salute (deve chiamare spesso il suo amico medico André), ma perché ben presto si rifà vivo Charlie, il protettore di Daniela da sempre. Questi cerca di avviare una trattativa di 'vendita', puntando sulla ricchezza dell'uomo. Ma, dopo varie incertezze, Daniela riacquista la sua libertà, e François le rivela che la notizia della vincita non è vera. Lui non è ricco, ma Daniela gli rimane vicino.
Sinopsys: Pigalle, Paris. In a nightspot, François, bewitched by the beauty of Daniela, a high-priced hooker, asks her to become his woman. He claims to have won a few million euro in a lottery, and she leaves with him, taking up residence in his home. But their day-to-day life is not that simple, both on account of François's health problems (he must frequently call on his friend André, a doctor, for help) and because Daniela's long-time pimp, Charlie, soon shows up. Charlie hopes to "sell" the woman to rich François. But after much doubt and uncertainty, Daniela regains her freedom and François reveals that he is not actually a lottery winner. In the end, despite his lack of riches, Daniela stays by his side.
