Trama: Il Terzo Reparto della Trentunesima Sezione Sanità si accampa a Sorman, sperduta oasi del deserto libico. Soldati e ufficiali sono sicuri che vi rimarranno per poco tempo; dieci giorni, un mese al piu. ma la notte del 12 Febbraio 1941, nel porto di Tripoli illuminato a giorno, fra l'attonito stupore delle guardie libiche e della maggioranza degli italiani, cominciano a sbarcare i soldati di Rommell. Al seguito dei tedeschi, i soldati della sezione italiana si spostano verso Tobruk, tornata nelle mani dell'Asse. La piccola colonna della 31ª Sezione Sanità riprende la marcia, ma è costretta a fermarsi di fronte a un campo minato. Da Tobruk a Bengasi, altre difficoltà, razzie, dolori e altri segreti. Poco dopo, le sorti altalenanti della guerra volgono a favore degli inglesi e gli italiani sono costretti a lasciare Tobruk per ripiegare assieme ai tedeschi...
Sinopsys: The Third Unit of the Thirty-Sixth Medical Section is camped in Sorman, an oasis in the Libyan desert. The soldiers and officers are certain that their stay will be brief: ten days, a month at the most. But on the night of 12 February 1941, with the Port of Tripoli lit up as if it were daytime, to the astonishment of the Libyan guards and most of the Italians, Rommell's troops come ashore. Following the Germans, the soldiers of the Italian unit head for Tobruk, once again in the hands of the Axis forces. The small column of the 31st Medical Section starts marching, but a minefield stops it. Between Tobruk and Benghazi there are other problems, raids, hurts and secrets. Shortly afterwards, the changing fortunes of the war shift in favour of the English, and the Italians are forced to leave Tobruk, retreating together with the Germans...
