Trama: Anna Heymes, trent'anni, è la moglie di uno dei più alti funzionari del Ministero degli interni. Da più di un mese soffre di terribili allucinazioni e di regolari crisi di amnesia, al punto da non riconoscere il volto del marito e di cominciare a dubitare della sua onestà. Nel frattempo, nel X arrondissement, il capitano di polizia Paul Nerteaux, riceve l'incarico di indagare sulla morte di tre donne turche che lavoravano in laboratori clandestini e i cui corpi sono stati atrocemente mutilati. Per riuscire ad infiltrarsi tra la comunità turca del quartiere, Nerteaux non ha altra scelta che rivolgersi a Jean-Louis Schiffer, un ex collega, con la fama di poliziotto implacabile.
Sinopsys: Thirty year-old Anna Heymes is married to one of the top officials at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For more than a month she has been suffering from terrible hallucinations and frequent attacks of amnesia, to the point where she fails to recognise her husband's face and begins to doubt his honesty. Meanwhile, in Paris' 10th Arrondissement, police Captain Paul Nerteaux is assigned to investigate the deaths of three Turkish women who worked in an underground production shop and whose bodies were found horribly mutilated. To infiltrate the neighbourhood's Turkish community, Nerteaux has no choice but to turn to Jean-Louis Schiffer, a former policeman with a reputation as an implacable enforcer.
