Altri titoli: Triple Agent
Sinopsys: It is 1936, Europe is shaken by the French Popular Front and the Spanish Civil War. Fjodor, a young general in the army of the Tsar sheltering in Paris with his wife, Arsinoé, a Greek artist, has an active role in the prevailing political chaos. While she sympathises with their communist next door neighbours, he is involved in secret missions, amusing himself by muddying the already turbid and confused political waters. He does not even try not to hide the fact of being a spy, but he keeps the identity of those he works for well hidden. Is he employed by the anti-communist white Russians, by the Soviets or by the Nazis? Or perhaps he has dealings with all three opposing camps. Does this mysterious man, who loves his wife deeply but who seems ready to sacrifice her in the interest of his sordid intrigues, even know who he is taking his orders from? Inspired by historical events the truth of which has never completely come to light, Triple Agent tells the story of a whirlwind of espionage and intrigue and contains a moral message on the nature of dissimulation and deceit.
