Trama: Per Niemans, l'uomo trovato murato in un monastero della Lorena non è una vittima come le altre. I segni esoterici incisi tutt'intorno ad esso e lo strano rituale del suo sacrificio annunciano ben altre cose... Quando Reda, giovane capitano di polizia, scopre l'esatto sosia di Cristo mezzo morto ai piedi di una chiesa, da principio crede di aver salvato un esaltato. Ma presto, si accorgerà che questo caso è legato a quello di Niemans, di cui è stato allievo alla scuola di polizia. Nella regione, le morti si moltiplicano. Ogni volta, dei monaci misteriosi dotati di una forza sovrannaturale eliminano in maniera spettacolare degli sconosciuti prima di scomparire senza lasciare traccia. Per Niemans e Reda, l'enigma è totale, fino a che non si rendono conto che tutte le vittime hanno lo stesso nome e svolgono la stessa professione degli apostoli... Con l'aiuto di Marie, una specialista in storia della religione, cercheranno di svelare il segreto di questo incredibile complotto.
Sinopsys: A body is found buried in the wall of a monastery. For Niemans, the signs etched around the spot and the strange sacraficial ritual suggests more than just another murder. When Reda, a young police captain, finds a Christ look-alike close to death in a church he thinks he's saved a fanatic. However, he soon finds out that his case is closely linked to that of Niemans, who was his tutor when he was training. More bodies turn up in the area. For Niemans and Reda it's a total mystery - until they realise that all the victims have the share the same names and professions as thetwelve apostles. With the help of Marie, an expert in religious history, they try to uncover the secret of the murders.
