Trama: Cenzo è di Bussi, vicino a Pescara, in Abruzzo, un paesino arroccato sulle montagne, era un operaio, trent'anni in fabbrica, primo livello. Poi hanno chiuso il suo reparto e l'hanno mandato fuori. Vince ha vent'anni, è il figlio di Cenzo, lui vuole andare via in una grande città. Anche Elena, la sua ragazza, ha vent'anni ma lei non ha voglia di andare via. Genny invece fa la cameriera a Pescara, anche lei ha vent'anni e vorrebbe vedere il mondo. Ma non può andare da nessuna parte. Come sale su un treno si sente morire perché soffre di crisi di panico. Anita, sua madre, fa la cuoca nello stesso ristorante dove lavora lei, fanno le stagioni, l'estate qui, l'inverno là. Cenzo, Vince, Genny, Anita, Elena, in un'estate al mare, scopriranno che grande conquista sia l'essere liberi.
Sinopsys: Cenzo is from Bussi, a town perched high in the mountains of the Abruzzo Region, not far from the city of Pescara. For thirty years he worked in a factory, reaching the top seniority level, and then they closed his department down and laid him off. Vince, Cenzo's son, is twenty and wants to leave for the big city. His girlfriend Elena is also twenty, but she has no wish to leave their town. Genny, another twenty year-old, works as a waitress in Pescara and would like to see the world, but she is unable to go anywhere. Every time she gets on a train, she suffers a panic attack and thinks she is going to die. Her mother Anita is a cook in the same restaurant where she works. Their jobs are seasonal. They spend the summer here, the winter there. One summer at the sea, Cenzo, Vince, Genny, Anita and Elena all discover how wonderful it is to be free.
