Sinopsys: Colin and Mary are an English journalist and an actress who have decided to return to Venice on holiday. During one of the first nights of their stay, the couple, who are not married, while looking for an open bar at a very late hour, meet Robert a mysterious Venetian who wins their sympathy. He speaks English perfectly and is gifted with a very special inner strength that enables him to jolt them out of their normal reality and urge them along a pathway towards the unknown. Their very actions and thoughts seem no longer under their control, in fact they have become the unknowing pawns in a strange game. Robert invites them to spend the night at his home where they meet his wife Caroline, just as enigmatic as he is. She is a timid Canadian who begs them to come back to see her again. Thus four people end up playing the dangerous game of human possession. Some win, some lose. Whoever possesses the image possesses reality and reality is death.
