Trama: Un'antica urna incatenata ad una bara viene rinvenuta per caso e dissotterrata lungo la strada che limita il cimitero di Viterbo. L'urna contiene un'antichissima tunica e alcuni oggetti appartenenti a Mater Lacrimarum, la Terza Madre. Unica sopravvissuta delle Tre Madri, le tre potenti streghe che dalla notte dei tempi spargono terrore e morte, Mater Lacrimarum si nasconde da secoli a Roma. Il suo risveglio scatena una serie di eventi misteriosi e terribili: il Male torna ad oscurare la città. Sarah Mandy, giovane studiosa di restauro e collaboratrice, oltre che compagna, di Michael Pierce, curatore del Museo di Arte Antica di Roma, viene coinvolta nell'escalation di violenza che si svolge ad un ritmo sempre più frenetico. Sarah cerca di sfuggire ma non può, è la Terza Madre ora che la cerca...
Sinopsys: An ancient urn chained to a coffin is unhearted by chance along the road bordering the Viterbo's cemetery. The urn contains an age-old tunic and some objects belonging to Mater Lacrimarum, the Third Mother. The only survivor of the Three Mothers - three powerful witches who had been shedding blood and terror for aeons - Mater Lacrimarum (the Mother of Tears) has been hiding in Rome for centuries and her awakening triggers a chain of mysterious and terrible events: the Evil is back to cast its dark shadow over the city. Sarah Mandy, a young student of restoration, co-worker and love's interest of Michael Pierce, the curator of the Museum of Ancient Art of Rome, is involved in the escalating and increasingly frantic episodes of violence. Sarah tries to run away but she cannot: the Third Mother is looking for her...
