Sinopsys: 18th century France. A beautiful Marquise invites a group of friends to her magnificent castle. One of the guests is young writer, celebrated both for his love affairs and for libertine writings which have earned him several short stays in prison. As the guests prepare to retire for the night, their furtive comings and goings signal the commencement of secret pleasures. The writer dons his satin robe and goes to the room of the lovely Marquise, armed with the practiced arts of seduction that have won him many famous conquests The Marquise responds with feigned indignation, but secretly welcomes the long-awaited challenge. The two players pass the long night in an amorous duel of wits where words are the arms of desire, sensuality and eroticism. The writer will do anything to arrive at the highly prized conquest lie, confess, trick, amuse, supplicate, threaten... But the Marquise is a woman of the world. She knows his traps and flattering words by heart. Her web is subtler and more discreet, woven with patience and skill. With stories of amorous conquests and hedonistic escapades that excite the imagination and set their souls aflame, between his impatient ardor and her wickedly distracted submission, the writer and the beautiful Marquise are well-matched sensual rivals. Each has a different aspiration: possession for him, love to her. Will dawn find them both triumphant or both vanquished?
