Trama: La storia degli uccelli migratori è quella di una promessa: la promessa di tornare. Se intraprendono dei viaggi, spesso di svariate migliaia di chilometri, pieni di pericoli, superano le più alte montagne, le distese oceaniche, i deserti infuocati, affrontano le intemperie; tutto questo per soddisfare la stessa unica necessità: sopravvivere. Il loro migrare è una lotta per la vita. Per andare da una latitudine all'altra, usano i riferimenti astronomici: il sole e le stelle. Sono tanto sensibili ai campi magnetici quanto l'ago di una bussola. Gli uccelli migratori arrivano da tutti i continenti, raggiungono le terre artiche e si disperdono: contrade inospitali per l'uomo, sono per essi terra d'abbondanza.
Sinopsys: The story of migrating birds is the story of a promise: the promise to return. When they undertake their voyages, which often last for thousand of kilometres and can be filled with danger, forcing them to fly over the highest mountains, over vast stretches of ocean and fiery desert, facing every sort of storm and adversity along the way, they do all this to satisfy the same, unchanging need: the need for survival.Their migration is a struggle for life. To travel from one latitude to another, they use astronomical references: the sun and the stars. They are as sensitive to magnetic fields as compass needles. Migratory birds arrive from all the other continents, reaching the Artic, where they take up residence in different areas: districts that man finds inhospitable are lands of abundance for them.
