Forse si... forse no... Sinopsys: Nicola, Angelo and Ennio, three young men in their thirties, find themselves sharing an apartment in Rome.Nicola, a passionate soccer fan and a supporter of the Genoa team, spends the bulk of his time in front of the TV, watching the same tape of his team's first game in the European cup competitions - Genoa vs. Oviedo, played in 1991 - and always with unflagging enthusiasm. But the winning goal that he longs to see is always blacked out by a power failure. Ennio, the owner of the apartment, passes his time in managing and maintaining it. His obsessive character, combined with the lack of anything serious to do, lead him to take an interest, and to meddle constantly, in the lives of the others, causing more harm than good. Angelo, the last of the three to move in, is a dependable, likeable young man who divides his time between his studies and his girlfriend Valentina. Bit by bit, however, he too falls prey to the inertia of his housemates and their daily routine, neglecting his studies and his girl. The three young men are victims of the Oblomov syndrome... Waiting for Nothing is a highly relevant Waiting for Godot featuring the thirty year-olds of today. |
