Trama: Un'antica leggenda islamica narra che ogni uomo ha due angeli invisibili sulle spalle. L'angelo della spalla destra prende nota delle buone azioni, mentre l'angelo della spalla sinistra ha il registro di quelle cattive.... Halima è sconvolta dall'idea che, alla sua morte, la bara non possa passare degnamente dalla porta di casa di un solo battente. Si finge allora in punto di morte per far tornare il figlio Khamro dalla Russia, in modo tale che possa terminare anche l'altro battente. Khamro rientra e avvia grandi lavori di ristrutturazione, Accade però che Khamro, aveva chiesto in prestito del denaro contando di poter saldare il suo debito con l'eredità della madre. Ma Halima non muore ...
Sinopsys: According to an ancient Muslim legend, every man has two invisible angels on his shoulders. The angel on the right shoulder takes note of all the good deeds, while the angel on the left shoulder keeps track of the bad ones.... Halima is troubled by the idea that, when she dies, her coffin will not be able to make a dignified exit from her front door, half of which is missing. And so she pretends to be on the verge of death in order to persuade her son Khamro to return from Russia and finish the other half of the door. Khamro comes home and begins a major restructuring of the house. But it turns out that Khamro has borrowed money, confident that he can pay it back out of the money inherited upon his mother's death. But when Halima does not die ...
