Trama: Bette è condannata alla sedia elettrica per la strage di alcuni bambini. Padre George, un gesuita, vuole confessarla, ma lei lo aggredisce, dicono di essere la reincarnazione di una strega. Il prete, scosso da questo episodio, subisce una grave crisi religiosa, al punto di rinunciare al sacerdozio. Sono passati diversi anni. Nel quartiere New England una famiglia va ad abitare in una casa ottocentesca. Il capo famiglia è Padre Peter, un sacerdote protestante. All'interno della casa accadono strani fenomeni. Riappare Padre George, ormai ridotto ad un relitto umano, che sembra posseduto dal demone invocato da Bette. Padre Peter combatterà contro il male con l'aiuto di Padre George ed insieme entreranno nella casa, cercando di esorcizzare gli spiriti maligni di molte streghe arse vive, proprio dove ora sorge la casa, durante l'inquisizione Cromwell...
Sinopsys: Bette has been sentenced to death by the electric chair for the massacre of some children. Father George, a Jesuit, wants to hear her confession, but she attacks him saying that she is really the reincarnation of a witch. The priest, profoundly shaken by this episode, goes through a terrible religious crisis which is so grave that he renounces the priesthood. Several years have passed. In a New England area a family goes to live in a Nineteenth Century house. The head of the family is Father Peter, a Protestant vicar. Inside the house the most unusual things start to happen. Then Father George reappears; by now he simply looks like the wreak of the man he once was and seems to be totally possessed by the spirit of the demon evoked by Bette. Father Peter decides to combat the spirit of evil with the help of Father George and they enter the house together trying to exorcise the evil presences of several witches burnt at the stake on the very spot where the house stands, during the Cromwellian persecutions.
