La trama

50 a.C. Cesare è assetato di conquiste. Alla testa delle sue gloriose legioni decide allora di invadere un'isola collocata ai limiti del mondo conosciuto, un Paese misterioso chiamato Britannia: l'Inghilterra. La vittoria è rapida e totale. Beh… quasi! Un piccolo villaggio riesce a resistere, ma le sue forze stanno per esaurirsi. Cordelia, Regina della Britannia, decide allora di inviare il suo ufficiale più fedele Beltorax in Gallia per chiedere aiuto ad un altro piccolo villaggio, noto per la sua tenace resistenza ai Romani... Nel villaggio in questione Asterix e Obelix hanno già un bel da fare. Il capo ha affidato loro suo nipote Menabotte, un ragazzo impertinente appena arrivato da Lutezia, perché lo aiutino a crescere e a diventare un uomo. E l'impresa appare davvero ardua. Quando Beltorax arriva per chiedere aiuto, decidono di consegnargli un barile di pozione magica e di assegnargli come scorta Asterix e Obelix. Ma anche Menabotte andrà con loro, dato che il viaggio sembra essere un'eccellente occasione per perfezionare la sua formazione. Sfortunatamente niente andrà come previsto...

Sinopsys

It’s 50 BC and Cesar thirsts for conquest. In command of his glorious legions, he invades an island found at the end of the known world. A mysterious land called Britannia, or England. Victory is rapid and complete. Well… almost! A small village holds out, but it is on its last legs. Cordelia, Queen of Britannia, sends her most faithful official, Beltorax, to Gaul to request the aid of another small village renowned for its tenacious resistance to the Romans... Here, Asterix and Obelix already have quite a bit to do. Their chief has entrusted his nephew Menabotte to their care. The unruly child, just arrived from Lutezia, is to be moulded into a man, a truly thankless task. When Beltorax arrives to ask for help, he is given a barrel of magic potion and sent back with Asterix and Obelix as his escort. But Menabotte will be making the trip too, in order to forge his character. Unfortunately, nothing goes as planned...
